The Under 9’s played Noble Park this week, with all the boys having heaps of fun. Better players on the day were Kaelon Keller, Rhys Durose and Matthew Bolitho.

UNDER 10/1
Playing Hampton Park away, the boys played well for two quarters, sharing the ball and playing as a team. The boys need to continue to do this for the full game if they are to get better returns for their efforts. Once again, it was disappointing that some spectators place unrealistic expectations on these young boys. Most of it is a learning experience for the players, and adults should know better. Participation is the cornerstone of our club’s success and a shortsighted focus on winning at this level is a sure guarantee of failure in the future. Leigh Fitzpatrick, Rhys Sherring, Brendan Cooney and Ian Trenerry all tried hard on the day.
