UNDER 9
The Under 9’s played Noble Park this week, with
all the boys having heaps of fun. Better players on the day were Kaelon
Keller, Rhys Durose and Matthew Bolitho.
UNDER 10/1
Playing Hampton Park away, the boys played well
for two quarters, sharing the ball and playing as a team. The boys need
to continue to do this for the full game if they are to get better returns
for their efforts. Once again, it was disappointing that some spectators
place unrealistic expectations on these young boys. Most of it is a learning
experience for the players, and adults should know better. Participation
is the cornerstone of our club’s success and a shortsighted focus on winning
at this level is a sure guarantee of failure in the future. Leigh Fitzpatrick,
Rhys Sherring, Brendan Cooney and Ian Trenerry all tried hard on the day.
UNDER 11/1
Endeavour Hills played Fountain Gate away on
Sunday. In a hard fought game from start to finish the boys played hard

and Andrew Powell. Final Scores: Endeavour Hills 14.10.94 Def Fountain
Gate 3.2.20.

not disgraced as the Eagles tried hard for four quarters. Best on the day

In a hard struggle against Noble Park at Charles
Green on Sunday under fill in Coach Brett McDonald, the Eagles went into
the last quarter five points down. In the last term the home team showed
great spirit to fight back and win by 11 points. On behalf of all the club
members we also wish regular Under 12 Coach Allan Cooney all the best as
he goes into hospital this week and we look forward to seeing him back
soon. Best Players were not names with the Coach putting this one down
to a team effort. Final Scores: Endeavour Hills 9.12.66 Def Noble Park
8.7.55.
UNDER 12/2
After a slow start in their match against Silverton,
the Eagles started playing attacking football. To their credit the undermanned
opposition fought back gamely with the Eagles eventually winning by just
three points. Thanks especially to our Under 11’s who helped out Silveton
with a few players. Best were Andrew Nassau, Shane McLure, Jarrod James,
Dayne Stockdale and Matthew Wood. Final Scores: Endeavour Hills 9.8.62

UNDER 13/2
Hosting Hallam at Singleton, the boys got off
to a good start, but fell away in the third term to let the opposition
back into the game. To their credit, the Eagles rebounded well in the final
term to come away with a 30-point win. Best were Troy Todd, Brian Sullivan,
David Antonelli, Matt Bartley and Eric Nassau. Congratulations to Matt
Bartley (Bartman) who played his 50th game on Sunday. Final Scores: Endeavour
Hills 12.9.81 Def Hallam 8.3.51.
UNDER 14/1

four good quarters of disciplined football to show that good form on the

UNDER 14/2
Playing away to Parkmore, the boys teamed well
together and did the disciplined things they have been asked to do. Unfortunately
for the Eagles however, the opposition were too tall and too strong and
went away to win the game convincingly. Well done to Endeavour Hills for
having a “red hot go!” Best players were Jason Randall, Paul Dimitriadis
and Steve Tognazzini. Final Scores: Endeavour Hills 4.9.33 Lost to Parkmore
19.12.126.
UNDER 15/2

Eagles put up a good display of team football. Despite going down by 29
points, the boys never gave up and played the game out to the end. Best
