INSPIRATIONAL WIN TO ENDEAVOUR HILLS UNDER 10’s
Hosting Noble Park at Charles Green on Friday night, the game was close with barely a goal separating the teams for most of the match. Going into the last term a point down, the Eagles put everything into the final 15 minutes to score two goals and run out unlikely 12-point winners. This was a great result for a team unfairly maligned by a small minority for most of the season. By all reports, the club theme song was sung four times, and the boys got reward for their hard work during the season. It was reported that the Club President was seen with a small tear in his eye after the match as he saw this team finally get the monkey off their back. No best players were named with the result put down to a team effort. Congratulations to Justin McLeod who played his 50th game for the Eagles. Final Scores: Endeavour Hills 3.6.24 Def Noble Park 2.0.12.
