Severe weather conditions last Sunday resulted in all Round 8 matches being cancelled by the Dandenong and District Junior Football League. Unfortunately for Endeavour Hills some good results had been obtained in matches completed with good wins to Under 14 Premier Division against Noble Park, an inspirational victory to the Under 13 Premier Division team agaist Narre Warren on Friday night, and a stong win to to the Under 12 Division 2 team against Springvale. All results have at this stage been cancelled pending a League delegates meeting on Wednesday night (31 May) to discuss the various options open to the member clubs. Despite the cancellations the Endeavour Hills Committee applauded the League decision, as continuation of the games could have resulted in serious health risks to the children and officials.

On a separate matter, the Endeavour Hills Junior Football Club would also like to thank the Springvale Junior Football Club for providing hot drinks to all the boys last Sunday.
